MY BODY by EMILY RATAJKOWSKI - a book review

Dear Reader, A few days ago I read my first non-fiction novel. My rating: 4,8 / 5 ⭐ Goodreads rating: 4,09 / 5 ⭐ I knew that as my first novel in this genre I wanted something feminist, something that shows me that women of these hard times like today, are brave and open about their lives and struggles, Emily's book did not disappoint . I read this book in 3 sittings and it has been a while since I devoured a book like that. I was absolutely obsessed with how raw, vivid and straight forward her words were. Emily writes with such technique that you feel the whole story on your skin. As I was reading about those "men" she mentions, I felt their eyes and their touch on my skin. Their claws gripping me and not letting go. Suffocation . This novel supports the fact that pretty privilege does exist, however it doesn't make life easier. Well maybe in some ways yes, but it has a huge price and a long list of spiritual and physical damage ...
